How to troubleshoot slow Internet.
The Kibosh Filtering service is cloud based, and fast. If you are experiencing slowness on some websites then the issue is not the Kibosh filtering service, but one of the following:
- Your network design is wrong, and thus causing erratic packet routing
- You have installed software on the PC experiencing slowness
- Your ISP is having issues
- You have checked a bunch of categories, and sites are being blocked that you need to access
- You have created rules on the Kibosh appliance that are adding processing overhead (to filter each packet).
- You have do the following to resolve:
- You have enabled ‘Ad Blocking’
